We are full speed ahead with our in-house training in Mackay. You can’t beat face-to-face training. Whilst we offer self-paced training for some of our user courses, we encourage you to attend in person whenever possible. Contact us to find out more!

Industrial Radiation Safety Level 1 training course. Queensland.
(Intending radiation safety officers) This 3-day workshop is a prerequisite to applying for a radiation safety officer certificate in QLD and includes the legislation component. Onsite or in-house training.

This 3-day workshop includes the theory component only for industrial radiography users – successful completion of an approved user radiation safety course is one of the requirements needed to apply for a use license in QLD, and includes QLD legislation component.

Self-paced learning - Portable Density Moisture Gauge Radiation Safety Training (PDMG). This self-paced course is designed for anyone using a portable moisture/density gauge (approved in QLD). This self-paced course is specifically for persons who wish to obtain a License to use Portable Moisture Density Gauges. On successful completion of the included exam, MES will supply a certificate of attainment.
Self-Paced learning - Hand-Held Analytical Radiation Apparatus (HHXRF). This self-paced course covers theoretical knowledge and successful completion meets the assessment component of the application for a Use License for handheld XRF (approved in Queensland). On successful completion of the included exam, MES will supply a certificate of attainment.
Self-Paced learning - Class 7 Transportation of Radioactive Substances. The primary aim of transport of this course is that under all foreseeable circumstances, radiation exposure to individuals is minimised and kept below acceptable limits. On successful completion of the included exam, MES will supply a certificate of attainment.
