Privacy Policy
The following participant/trainee records are stored by McKavanagh Engineering Services Pty Ltd (MES).
- Participant registration information
- Participant contact information (name, address, phone, email)
- Statements of Attainment
- Marked and unmarked assessment items
Security and Confidentiality
Hardcopies of participant/trainee assessments will be stored until archived. Archived copies will be stored electronically. Participant/trainee records will only be made available to either the participant/trainee whose record it is or to the employer who paid for the participant/trainee’s training. Participant/trainee records will not be released other than above without the written consent of the participant/trainee involved.
Archiving
As we are not a registered training organisation and our courses are individually approved by the regulator our internal archiving policy states that all trainee records are to be kept for a period of 3 years. After this period, all electronic and paper archive records are destroyed.
External Reporting
Participant/trainee assessment outcomes will be made available to:
- Clients seeking summaries of staff training, and
- Relevant state and federal government departments as required by law.
Access to Records by Clients
Participants/trainees may request copies of their own records – a fee may be charged for replacement certificates.
